Does higher phys attack brand the magicians animate being summons stronger?
I take been enjoying playing the Wizard today, and have the innate poison from the ranger (don't quite have my second passive still, just close) so I'm getting a vitrify to my base damage on bones attack and the poison, it seems to wreck as a basic with loftier int damage. I was wondering if it would be worth putting any points into phys damage as well for his brute summons though? although I could use the zombie ane and I recollect that probs scales off magic. It would be cool to get all in on both summon skills...

Did bosses get a buff since youtubers played, and/or does scaling injure you at higher levels?
So, for the start part of this game I LOVED it....really enjoyed unlocking the forms, fifty-fifty though I normally dislike games where you lot switch a lot...this one has me hooked. Just...it'due south starting to actually irritate me now after beating a few dungeons that seemingly all the later ones are just turning into bullet-hell... Then, right now I'yard trying to clear the Ancient Robot dungeon...and I'm at the boss, but just having a lot of trouble chirapsia it. There'southward just too much corpse explosions, fire, projectiles...i...

buying stat increases from vendor?
At which signal is information technology a good idea to do this, please? I'm thinking you probable want to wait till you know which forms you will be using every bit a base for your build, earlier you invest? Or does information technology non matter and I can only max everything anyway? Are there any y'all would recommend to level attributes in? I could practise with seeing some builds TBH as I still don't have the full picture show even so. I levelled up the rangers motorcar attack and the slugs passive so far (they will have adept synergy when I can actually pick my o...

Tedious game with bad controls, facing the direction you want is way harder than it should be in this game. I don't mind hard games but when yous are fighting the controls as much equally the enemies something own't right.
There is as well too many random characters and to level them up you demand to do all sorts of challenges, sometimes information technology'south quite unclear what you are supposed to exercise.
When you lot collect money and health items they always explode all around then you lot have to run around collecting them.. minor gripe but it gets tedious fast.

TLDR
It's okay. It's a relatively uncomplicated gameplay loop that gives the actor enough breadcrumbs to behave through to the end. It feels a scrap tedious and uninspired towards the end of the first playthrough. The writing is nonsensical random humor with a straight forward narrative towards the end. In short, it's an alright brain-off romp just ends up existence pretty forgettable of an feel.
The Ramble
This game starts off a bit slow and fails to take off. Information technology feels like a bunch of bank check boxes from start to finish stretching a simple gameplay loop simply a scrap too far. There's fun there but it only applies to about iii-four dungeons. I did not count the NG+ stuff because if it takes an entire playthrough before a game gets interesting, there'southward a problem.
That said, it's not all bad. There'southward a lot of really good stuff similar the overworld map design is filled with nooks and crannies, collectables which all get towards improving your graphic symbol, and silly little side quests that have a lot of humor of the 'that was random' blazon. Depending on your funny os, it can come beyond as charming or overplayed. The fine art style is great and fits the writing, world, and whimsical twisted nature of the game. It's the best part by far.
The main carrot-and-stick of the game is hit large 'story' dungeons, completing information technology with what yous accept, and unlocking more forms (classes) to add together more than possible tools to your chugalug for the side by side big story dungeon. The game does a great job of giving the role player the freedom to be a minimalist and unlock just enough to beat the next story gate dungeon or grind for more tools up to a certain signal. Form progression is locked behind those gates forcing the histrion to motility on earlier more forms tin can be unlocked and more than things tin be grinded.
This loop is split in ii major parts where the later forms effectively gets ungated all at in one case along with a portion of the map. While this isn't necessarily a bad thing, the way to unlock these forms and their skills is very irksome and monotonous. It all boils down to:
-'Utilise Ten skill Y number of times.'
-'Trigger 10 status upshot'
-'Hit 10 number of enemies with Y skill'
-'Use Ten status to break enemy shields'
There's some slight remixes of the above similar 'Use X skill to trigger Y condition on enemies' or something to that effect. This is the same beyond all the forms and personally, I ended up but grinding it out in ii dungeons in society to unlock the fun combinations.
This is not a knock per se merely to illustrate a indicate of design in this game. If the thespian min maxes or likes to be every bit potent as possible earlier moving on, it gets monotonous fast and it trivializes the dungeons. However, if the actor goes through the game more organically and jump effectually different forms trying to consummate the dungeons and objectives on after another, it's rather fun and the way I'd presume information technology was meant to be experienced. What's keen about this design is information technology's upwardly to the player how challenging things are. The flaw in the design is, for those who wish to consummate as much as they tin can earlier moving onto the next story beat, they can easily trivialized the unabridged game and end upwardly with a disappointing experience.
The dungeon blueprint starts off strong and ends upwardly being rather samey. Modifiers like 'everything does 9999' or 'no mana regen on normal hits, condition breaks grant X mana' mixes things up plenty to custom tailor a build for. But those are few and far in between on the kickoff playthrough. NG+ changes things up a flake with more modifiers only by then, I was already tired of the loop.
The game manages to baste feed the fun parts of the game but non have enough substance to baste feed. So past the end, there'due south a feeling of emptiness.
'I really simply went through all that and this is information technology?'
At the end of the ramble, I managed to waste material 30+ hrs doing featherbrained tasks and unlocking/completing things. But at the end of it, the feel felt a flake hollow and as soon every bit I closed the game, memories of the game had already started leaking out of my coconut. It's sadly a bit of a forgettable romp of a game that never really manage to create a really memorable moment in the unabridged run. It'south junk food for the gamer.
